Frequently asked questions
Who owns the source code?
It is defined in the contract. The base scope covers the application deployed and running, the technical documentation, and the infrastructure credentials, which are registered in the client’s name. Transfer of source-code ownership can be added to the scope and is priced separately.
How long does a project take?
A scoped internal application is usually in production within six to twelve weeks. A system replacing a whole operation takes longer. You get the timeline in writing at the assessment stage, before you decide.
Will you work on an existing system?
Yes. We start by reviewing the current code and infrastructure and tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing or rebuilding. Continuing is often cheaper than people assume.
What about maintenance afterwards?
It can be contracted with us or handled internally. In the second case, handover includes documentation and training sessions. The architecture is built on standard technology so any team can operate it.
